Facilities

Over and above the old antiquated buildings of the High School, our late Member of the Parliament, Mr. George Eden contributed the MP fund to build 6 new classrooms for the Higher Secondary students. There are laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology as also for Computer. A coin phone has been provided in the corridor next to the staff room for students to use during emergencies. The students have separate latrines for boys and girls. The library is still in its starting point however the High School has a very old library with over 50,000 books, many of them out of print. The ground is vast and full of shady trees, most of them denizens of a past era. Modifications have been planned and requests for help have been submitted to all sources for newer facilities. The construction of two more classrooms, a library and reading room, new spacious laboratories, staff room, benches and desks, language lab etc are underway and is expected in a short time.
